1. Overview
This policy explains how pickup and delivery work for all Four Sprouts Flower Farm LLC products, including CSA bouquets, weekly bouquets, and special orders. Clear expectations help us keep your flowers fresh, your experience smooth, and our small family farm running efficiently.
2. Pickup Locations & Times
Pickup locations, days, and times are selected at checkout through Family Farmers. These details are confirmed in your order email.
Bouquets are available only during the designated pickup window.
Pickup reminders are sent automatically through Family Farmers.
Please double‑check your pickup location each week, especially early in the season.
We harvest your flowers fresh for your pickup time, so arriving within the window ensures the best quality.
3. Missed Pickups
If you cannot pick up your bouquet:
You may send a friend or family member to pick it up for you.
If the pickup window closes and the bouquet is unclaimed, it may be donated, composted, or repurposed.
Missed pickups are not eligible for refunds, but CSA members have flexible options outlined in our CSA Policies.
4. Delivery (If Offered)
If delivery is available for your order:
Delivery windows are approximate and may vary based on weather, traffic, and route efficiency.
Flowers will be left in a safe, shaded location if you are not home.
We cannot be responsible for flowers left outdoors in extreme heat, cold, or direct sun.
Please ensure your delivery address and instructions are accurate in your Family Farmers account.
If we cannot safely deliver your bouquet, we will contact you to arrange an alternative.
5. Weather Considerations
Weather can affect both harvest and pickup/delivery logistics.
Severe weather may require adjusting pickup times or locations.
If extreme heat or storms threaten flower quality, we may shift the pickup window to protect your bouquet.
Any changes will be communicated through Local Line email notifications.
We always prioritize the freshness and safety of your flowers.
6. Special Orders & Events
For event flowers or custom orders:
Pickup or delivery details will be confirmed individually.
Larger orders may require a specific pickup time to ensure freshness.
Delivery fees may apply depending on distance and order size.
7. Quality at Pickup
We harvest your flowers at peak freshness. At pickup:
Bouquets should be placed in water within 1 hour.
Keep flowers out of hot cars and direct sun.
If you ever receive a bouquet that appears damaged or wilted, contact us within 24 hours with a photo so we can make it right.
8. Communication
All pickup and delivery reminders, updates, and changes are sent through Family Farmers. Farm updates, stories, and newsletters are sent through Squarespace only if you subscribe.
